This weekend i am finally getting a lightweight tent. I wanted to get a Terra Nova Quasar tent but it is just to pricey for me. So i went for the Vango Spirit 200+. The reviews i have read have been very good and it weighs in at 2.7kg which is slightly heavier than i wanted but it's still good enough.

Can't wait to get it and give it a try.

My wife is 6 months pregnant and as such we can't do any serious walking. The weather today was just amazing so we got our butts over to Llanberis and had a little stroll around Llyn Padarn. When the weather is this good everyehere looks great. We had a great time around the water.

We went up to Pen y Pass to check out the start of the Snowdon Marathon route which starts at Nant Peris and takes you up to Pen Pass, 4 miles in total and what a start to a Marathon :).

We went for a local plod today around the small hills of Prestatyn. It was quite mild but just a bit breezy
